DEMETHRA project funded under EDF call 2023
Hit09 Srl will lead one of the 54 ambitious projects selected for funding in the framework of European Defence Fund (EDF) Call 2023. The project, named DEMETHRA, will investigate novel scramjet technologies towards a realistic hypersonic vehicle and address the challenges of the supersonic combustion jet engines, namely aerodynamic heating, reliable and efficient fuel burning, capability to change and control thrust direction. DEMETHRA, led by Hit09, with the participation of German Aerospace Center (DLR), IBK-Innovation GmbH & Co. KG and MECA-OUEST, will develop technological bricks for improved defence.
